For example, - It can be used for cuts, wounds, burns, sores & scalds. - It can be used as mouth wash and aftershave. - It can be used for gum troubles, care of the throat and mouth ulcers. It can also be used for piles, sore throat &after tooth extraction. - It can be used for boils, eczema, prickly heat and spots. - It can also be used for daily bath, household disinfection Its halogenated phenol possesses anti-microbial activity while, sodium salicylate has anti-inflammatory and analgestic effect thus reducing pain. Directions for use: For Boils, spots, skin irritations, pimples, rashes and sun burn, dab every four hours and allow to dry. For cold, sore throat: At first sign gargle with the liquid diluted with about 5 parts water or spray the throat with slightly diluted TCP using an all-glass throat spray. As a mouth wash: use daily, diluted with about 5 parts water, after meals. Additionally, for gum troubles and mouth ulcers, apply undiluted three times daily and consult your dentist. For bruises and sprains apply lint dressing soaked with TCP liquid antiseptic diluted wuth 3 parts water. Dab again at intervals.
